It's only 1oz lighter than 8oz Oilskin, but because it's a dry wax, it feels slightly lighter. This makes it

Great vest

Very comfy vest, l bought this to replace my oilskin vest l had been wearing for years. Much better not as heavy and more comfortable to wear all day.
